Product review: LUSH Cosmetics
Okay so I know the whole planet has been raving over LUSH Cosmetics forever now. My aunts have been buying it for me for Christmas for years. (They loveeeee) I am a little late to the Lush party. But- I'm so excited to now be a part of the club. Lush provided me with their Mother's Day package for review, and I'll give you a hit:
It passed.
When I received the products in the mail, I started searching hashtags on Instagram.
Then I realized, holy shit. People LOVE this stuff. #bathbomb:

Ok, now I have to try them.
For those of you living under a rock,
like I was
Lush creates everything under the sun for skincare, self care, and really fun beauty products. All of their products are made with natural ingredients and are handmade, vegan and packaged with minimal impact.
Wow. That's pretty impressive.
Their Mother's Day line is nothing short of awesome. I'm a cat mother, so I got to treat myself.
Isn't that how that works?
Probably. -Anyways, I loved all of it. Practicing self care is one of the most satisfying routines you can get into.
Kayley Reed, self care queen, really enforces self care on her social media channels. It makes things like, trying out 50 new Lush products and taking the night off to relax in the tub, not something to feel guilty for. I struggle with this sometimes. It's work vs. play, but also considering your happiness and wellbeing. Stop feeling guilty for treating yourself, eating what you want, taking a night off, and sticking to your decisions.

Since I received my package last week, I've been applying the Honey Lip Scrub about 15 times a day. It may be an addiction. But, to be fair, there's no recommended application per day on the package. Hahaha. You get a touch on your finger and dab to your lips. Or -my way, and kissing the little container directly. I find that works better. You smooth it into your lips until it softens and then you lick off the excess. It tastes soooooooooo good. It leaves your lips feeling exfoliated and fresh. I definitely recommend using it before you apply lipstick for a more even, less patchy application.
Another thing I love is the Ups-A-Daisy Bath Bomb. I cut mine in half so I could enjoy it twice. They smell so good and really fun to watch explode into colours once it hits the water. I feel like a kid looking forward to playing with toys in the tub. Haha.
I could go on and on about each product, really. But really I think you should experience them for yourself. They are surprisingly affordable (most under 10.00) and ship worldwide. And -A perfect Mother's Day gift! What a better way then to treat her with something she can't just go out and buy for herself. Andddddd practice the self care she deserves. <33 I'll pretend mine was gifted by Mercy the cat ;)
