It's been about a week and a half since we got back from Boston and it's been nothing but good news all around. Being self employed is so so hard sometimes. It's discouraging and stressful and you never really get the stability of knowing what's coming up next. I try not to think about it too much and just trust that everything is coming together. I work hard every day and try to stay positive that everything I'm doing really is paying off somewhere.

.Sometimes with self employment you can have weeks that you work from 7am-11pm for a straight week, and don't make a dime. It's discouraging. You can send 25 emails and get absolutely no replies. You kind of wonder, I am doing this right?

But just when you're almost ready to throw in the towel, the universe acts. I love this about the universe and it's why I never quit. I always know it's coming. I have some very exciting news and so many new partnerships coming up these next months and cannot wait to share with you, the creativity and fun that these are going to hold. I finally invested in a new camera, a long time coming and so excited about that too. For a bit of a peak, there are wedding bookings, engagement, grads, we have new partnerships for AKA DECOR and two social media partnerships that are so incredible and I'm still pinching myself.  Also-I will be competing in Art Battle, New Brunswick Finals tomorrow night!!

I would absolutely love to see you there, so come on out. It's at 8pm at the Sanctuary Theatre on Germain Street.
