Oceanstone Seaside Resort, Nova Scotia

Pure bliss. Back at Oceanstone Resort. You may have remembered our last trip to Oceanstone last winter. We had such an amazing time and it was such a cozy spot to spend the weekend mid winter. This time we got to enjoy this gorgeous resort in the summer! While it was still pretty cold, lol, we got to enjoy the coziness of the wood stove inside our cottage again this year.

This year we stayed in Grey Owl Cottage located, like Dovekey (our last cottage) right on the ocean. The open concept layout was so light and airy and could see the ocean even from bed. Dreammmyyyy.

This year we added a family member, so lucky for us, Oceanstone is pet friendly! Mason was such a fun little add on to this trip and we absolutely loveddddd romping all along the beach. It was a riot to watch.

We had dinner on Saturday night and brunch on Sunday morning at the resort’s restaurant, Rhubarb. We loved having these little dates up the hill and the food was so so good. It’s so convenient that this amazing place is just a few steps away from the cottages. It makes it so easy to go out to eat, or even to order takeout and eat it by the fire or on the beach. I loved seeing the staff at Rhubarb again, it was honestly like running into old friends <3.

Oceanstone is located just minutes from Peggy’s Cove so of course we headed down there to have a little walk and take in the views. Mason was a showstopper at Peggy’s Cove and had to pose for numerous photos from tourists hahaha. Justin and I gained a whole new appeciation for tourists and their iPads.

We spent Sunday evening with blankets on the deck, listening to music while Justin cooked supper on the barbecue. It was such a perfect way to wind down the weekend and really relax and take in our surroundings. We are so lucky to have such access to these beautiful oceanside places. Ughhhhh <3333

If you haven't visited this lovely corner of Nova Scotia, I highly recommend doing so. I hope these photos can do justice of the amazing time we had here and the memories that we made, again <3. Make sure to follow Oceanstone  and Rhubarb on Instagram to keep up with their beautiful photos, food, and special deals.

Make sure if you book with Oceanstone, let them know I sent you!! (A surprise maybe?)
