Hey guys!! Today I have a really awesome home hack to share with you! If you’ve been following along with our home renovation series, you’ve definitely seen the master bath from start to finish. If you haven’t, what are you doing?! Go check it out!!!

If you saw the transformation you know that we wanted black penny tile with black grout. Everyone told me that you can’t get grout to be actually black, it comes out as a grey. But, I was determined to find a way to get black grout, even if it meant manually painting it black lol.

I found the BEST product for fixing our grout issue. The grout pen!!! You guys, this seriously CHANGED the way our bathroom looked, and brought the whole thing together. I couldn’t be any happier with how it turned out. It was super easy to use, so easy that I did half of the bathroom by myself, lol.

All you had to do was shake the pen, and push the tip on the ground a couple times to get the ink to come out, and then you basically colour in between the tiles!! Lol. The only negative I had about the whole process is about how time consuming it was. But… we did choose like the smallest tile possible lol. We went through about 10 pens, so keep that in mind when you are ordering! You will most likely need to order a few to complete your project.

After using the grout pen, we used a sealer to keep it from fading, and make it last way longer! We used the Miracle Sealants Impregnator sealer, which worked awesome. If you guys want to get it you can get it here!
