Saint John Cut is a giant collaboration of Photographers, hair stylists, makeup artists, wardrobe, people with beautiful homes...! You name it, in Saint John.  This was the third shoot, (my first)  Organized by  Barb Crawford  in the beautiful home of Judith Makin! Such a fun positive experience with everyone sharing the same interests. Seeing every other photographers take on the same models, same locations, same environment, all with such a different twist and take on creativity given all the same things to work with, it is SO cool, I am so happy I was invited to be a part of it and I am veryyyy happy with all my results!! Big thank you to everyone that made the experience happen, and it was great meeting every new person!!

Thank you everyone

Doing so many family, baby, grad, you name it, sessions lately so I decided I needed to do some more shoots that inspire me, so here it is. I watched a 3 day workshop of Lara Jade and she was so so so inspiring, in a nut shell, she came from a small town, was dying to be involved in fashion, dressed up her friends, did work for shops, and jewelers in her area, built a portfolio, got noticed, moved to New York and now she is so successful and doing what she loves. Since she wasn't letting things hold her back, it was really eye opening. SO for last Sunday's shoot, I decided I wanted to go all out.

My fashion fix

Location: Grand Bay-Westfield, NB Model: Jordyn Chenier I came across these photos recently, and I don't know why I didn't do anything with them, they are from Summer 2010 and I honestly like them a lot more then the work that I've been doing recently. I need to be doing more personal shoots like this for my portfolio. If you are, or know someone who is tall and skinny and think they qualify for a "high fashion" kind of look, please forward me their name, I am looking for girls to use some ideas on for my portfolio. the art of nature

HI:) Fall is so beautiful, everyone in Canada should be getting out on the rare sunny days we get and go for a walk and enjoy all the beautiful colors and surroundings we are blessed with! Nature of Art, Art of Nature, by Nature Trust New Brunswick is asking students from my school to participate in a show they are putting on and showing in some local galleries, these are not what I am submitting, but it was SO inspired by the project. I didn't approach my piece in a "Fashion" way, but here it is!!!!

Autumn breeze

 I shot lots and lots and lots of photos over the weekend, a couple photo shoots, and just some stuff at thanksgiving diners. But I didn't get my entire fall leaves fix in, so today Kayley helped me get that fix in. I LOVE HOW THESE TURNED OUT. Kayley is so beautiful and I think nothing but positive things about her, she is very open to everything and always up for shooting.
