Hey guys!I hope everyone’s hanging in there okay. I am excited to bring something “normal” to your newsfeeds during this very not normal time… So if you remember, this house originally had laundry shared in the main level bathroom. We kept the bathroom there, swapped out the washer and dryer and placed our dream clawfoot tub! The house is a little confusing to explain, but we knocked down a bedroom wall on the main level and opened everything up. We then put up another wall to create a little tiny separate laundry room.

If you’ve been following along on Instagram stories you know we are well into our laundry room renovation! I’m so excited to start this because this house never had separate laundry. We built a new wall and created our own. I’ll go into more detail when we reveal the space! For now I just want to share the inspiration photos that I used when designing! In the above Mood Board photo, shown are our exact light fixture, and washer and dryer. I am almostttttt positive we will be using tile that looks almost identical for the flooring. The cactus I need to go shopping for, but the dresser I found almost identical on Kijiji!

Hey guys!! It’s here!! We are finally revealing our main level bathroom before and afters!!! We made a video of the process so you can see the work that went into it behind the scenes! I am so so soo happy with how everything turned out and I am going to be SO sad to leave this bathroom when we move!!

I get questions about this picture ledge on the daily. I’ve shared before, but the ledge itself is handmade in Halifax by a company called Power Designs. It’s perfect. We love how it fits perfectly above our couch in the kitchen and provides the perfect space to swap and display art. I am absolutely someone who can’t commit to artwork in one place, permanently So this is a VERY helpful display and it’s so fun to rearrange. I get a lot of questions on how to style it so I’ve come up with a few tips.

We all know I looooove plants & we also know I kill plants…alot. I feel like I am constantly reaching out to my friends, family & followers for help in this department. Lol. And despite all the tips it is still a struggle- plants don’t seem to stick to a schedule and I feel like I am always just guessing what they need. (Also not keeping track of when I’m doing things) I decided in hopes that at least your plants can survive this winter that I would share with you guys the tips that have been passed along to me through you guys! Compiling a list that we can all reference and add to!
